ORAL HEALTH INFORMATION

Dental decay: bacteria in the plaque lives on sugars consumed in your diet and produce acid as a waste product. The acid dissolves the enamel of the teeth, the bacteria then can invade the soft inner part of the teeth, the dentine, the teeth will then decay quite rapidly and there may be some paid with sweet foods and temperature change. This is nature's warning to go to the dentist.
Gum disease: bacteria also produces toxins and these make the gums red and swollen and they will bleed on brushing. Previous Next
